Contacting us during Covid-19/Coronavirus
Whilst we are not visiting people in the local area as a result of the Coronavirus/Covid-19, we are still here to answer your questions and queries, and to provide information to those who would like it.
We are aware that some people will want some information to consider and may want to provide feedback. We are also keenly aware that some individuals and households may feel that they cannot or do not want to, think about this or any other similar proposal until such time as the threat of the Coronavirus/Covid-19 has abated.
We recognise and respect both of these positions.
Firstly, and for clarity for those who may be justifiably worried about all that is currently happening in the world, whilst our community engagement team are available to discuss this proposal with anyone interested, we will not be actively calling to people’s houses, organising meetings or engaging on a face to face basis until the authorities have deemed it safe and appropriate to do so. We would also like to reassure these people that we are engaging at an early stage in the design process and that there will be plenty of opportunities to consider this proposal as time goes on.
Secondly, for those who have been actively seeking out information on this proposal and for those who would like to contact us for further information, we would like to highlight the following means of contact:
Phone: George O’Connor (Community Liaison Officer) on 087 352 1511
Use the Contact Us facilities on our project website
We believe that there is an opportunity with this proposal, to deliver a renewable energy project that would not only deliver real climate action, but would also support the economic, environmental and social sustainability of the local community. We are committed to engagement and we would be more than happy to talk to anyone who may have an interest in this proposal.
If you were to take the opportunity to contact us, it would be very useful if would have your Eircode available, as this will allow us to identify the area that you live in so that we might be able to answer any queries that you have in the best possible way. We will also be more than happy to forward a project information booklet to you in the post.
On a separate and very important note, we would encourage everyone to take heed of the Health and Safety recommendations in relation to limiting the spread of Covid-19/Coronavirus including social distancing and hand hygiene recommendations. Please stay safe and if possible, stay home.
